Do We Need a Facebook Alternative

No website can claim a copyright on a color scheme such as blue or white. But would a new facebook alternative that is aesthetically the same as facebook but improved be so difficult to achieve legally? I think not.

Let us not forget that Zuck was a loser that stole the social media premise that would become facebook from its original creators in college having signed on the team to steal the coding and intellectual property that was already being envisioned. But this is not an article about the complete fuck that is Zuck. This is about something more... something more that can be salvaged from this utter douch bag's bullshit. Let's look legally at what facebook is and what it has been proven to NOT to be.

Advertising
It is has been proven that facebook is a monitoring engine that skirts the fringes of privacy laws in order to harvest the personal information of its members to sell this information to corporate advertising interests. A facebook alternative would not infringe upon the privacy of its users and thus could be classified as a unique social media platform. Advertisers would have to present quality goods/services on this site and hope users would choose to buy.

Surveillance
It has been proven that facebook utilizes the mics of smartphones to listen in on private conversations of users having the facebook app on their phones to target advertising toward those users. A valid facebook alternative would not do this and could be classified as a unique social media platform. Also facebook is now associated with the FBI and NSA in monitoring the posts and messages of users in an unconstitutional scheme to target/monitor them for suspicious "terrorists" activities. A valid facebook alternative would not do this and could be classified as a unique social media platform.

Politics
It has been proven that facebook suppresses/censors the posts of users favoring specific political views not  favoring the political views of Zuck or the current ruling political establishment. A valid facebook alternative would not do this and could be classified as a unique social media platform. In fact, a valid facebook alternative would promote political discussion/debate and even provide an app that petitions senators/congressmen on important issues. A valid facebook alternative could even provide an app that could petition to have a sitting senator/congressman removed from office. A feature that facebook does not currently offer.

New System of World Governance
A valid facebook alternative could even effectively evolve into a new form of world government much like that envisioned by the elites except powered by the entire population of the planet as a whole. Issues would be discussed, voted upon by a simple press of a button. World issues transcending borders would be decided upon by world majority rule and presented to the masses. Global policy would be dictated by the masses in the common interests of the masses rather than the tyrannical schemes of the few. Nations would become irrelevant in the new era of global sovereignty. World leaders would become obsolete. A valid facebook alternative would do this and could be classified as a unique social media platform.
