Even your mobile phone contract is nothing more than an agreement in which you pay for your carrier provider to solicit you in return for limited service.If you are trying to save every penny during difficult economic times try this. Divide your bill amount by the meter usage for the listed month on your monthly utility bill. Now compare that to previous months. If your simple math is correct you are likely to come to the realization that it does not matter how diligently you work to conserve energy you are still being charged relatively the same amount each month. Take you calculations to the power company and pin them to a set rate per usage for future bills and demand a refund for all over charges. Of course they will tell you all the reasons why your bill makes no sense. But, by law, they must notify you by mail for every rate change and additional cost added to your bill. Don’t be surprised. The power company absconds approximately $500 to $1000 dollars annually per customer in illegal fees. And they are not alone.
